Dr. James A. McGregor has over 27 combined years of experience as a public health doctor, epidemiologist, research scientist, and respiratory specialist. Dr. McGregor also possesses a masters degree in exercise science/exercise physiology and health promotion. He is a Registered Respiratory Specialist, Corrective Exercise Specialist, Advance Exercise Nutritionist, a Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Educator, and an infection preventionist: to add, Dr. McGregor is a credentialed member of the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC), a credentialed member of the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC), a credentialed member of the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR), a credentialed member of the American Heart Association (AHA), and a credentialed member of the National Association for Sports Medicine (NASM).
Dr. McGregor has dedicated his time to leadership in clinical operation in the areas of respiratory critical care, physiological/physical rehabilitation, and pulmonary rehabilitation. Dr. McGregor has also spent time in chronic and infectious disease research directed toward underserved populations.
With such a plethora of combined expertise, Dr. McGregor has placed his focus on the underserved pulmonary diseased populations to whom he will be able to contribute and make an immediate impact. He aims to change the trajectory of pulmonary rehabilitative health within underserved communities.
