Bonheur Dounebaine is a Medical Doctor who also holds a master’s in public health. Doctor Dounebaine is a medical epidemiologist with over 10 years of experience working with the underserved and underprivileged populations within international communities with institutions including the World Health Organization and UNICEF.
Dr. Dounebaine has spent much of his medical career across the continent of Africa in the field, working on polio eradication programs, HIV/AIDS, immunization/disease surveillance, health communication, and reproductive health programs. He is a registered member of the American Public Health Association (APHA).
For the last three years, Dr. Dounebaine has devoted his time to research and fieldwork on the best systems of vaccines, disease surveillance, and primary healthcare services in developing countries. Dr. Dounebaine has recently headed WUTENE, Inc., a not-for-profit organization in Gwinnett County focusing on minority health and fitness that also entails population health education.
Dr. Dounebaine is committed to serving the Respire Cardio-Pulmonary Health Intervention Center, where he will utilize his expertise to help enhance care of chronic pulmonary diseases for underserved populations.
